In the early hours of that fateful day, a fire broke out in our building. The flames spread quickly, consuming everything we had worked so hard to build. The café that had been our dream, our haven, was reduced to ashes. The loss was overwhelming, and it felt like our world had come crashing down.

But in the midst of despair, something beautiful happened—our community rallied around us. Messages of support poured in from friends, guests, and strangers alike. People who had once enjoyed a cup of coffee while cuddling a cat, those who had found comfort in our cozy corners, and others who simply loved what we stood for—everyone came together.

With their encouragement, we made a decision: we would rebuild. Not just a café, but a stronger, more resilient place that could continue to bring joy to both our two-legged and four-legged visitors.

The journey was not easy. It took months of planning, fundraising, and searching for a new location. But with each hurdle, our determination grew. We found a new space at 524 E Capitol Ave., and slowly, with the help of volunteers, donations, and an incredible amount of hard work, our vision started to take shape once again.

Today, as we prepare to reopen, we do so with a renewed sense of purpose. Our new café is a testament to the power of community, resilience, and love. We've welcomed new cats to the space, and they are already settling in, ready to bring warmth and joy to all who visit.

Our story didn’t end with the fire—it was just the beginning of a new chapter. We can’t wait to welcome you back to our café, where together, we’ll create new memories and continue our mission of finding loving homes for shelter cats.
