Your time helps us provide exceptional care for our cats and create a welcoming space for guests. Whether you’re tidying up, socializing with our feline residents, or assisting visitors, your contribution makes a pawsitive impact!

How to Get Started:

New volunteers are encouraged to attend a New Volunteer Meeting to learn more about our volunteer opportunities, expectations, and how you can make a difference. These optional 30-minute meetings take place every other Monday and Friday at 6:00 PM and are a great way to get familiar with the café, our cats, and what to expect during your shift. When you're ready to get started, please complete a volunteer application so we have your information on file. Once you're all set, book your volunteer shift and jump right in with our cool cats!

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteering with us is open to everyone! No heavy lifting is required, and there is plenty of seating and refreshments available to keep you comfortable throughout your shift. Volunteers must be 16 years or older to participate independently. Those under 16 are welcome to volunteer but must have a parent or guardian present during their shift. No prior experience is required, just a love for cats, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help. Come lend a paw and be part of our mission to support feline welfare!

What Does a Volunteer Do?

Volunteers play an essential yet relaxed role in keeping the café running smoothly. The primary responsibility is to socialize with our café cats and engage with guests. This helps our adoptable cats feel comfortable while creating a welcoming experience that supports the adoption process.

For those who feel comfortable, volunteers may also assist with light cleaning tasks such as sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and refreshing food and water bowls to ensure a cozy space for both guests and cats. Occasionally, volunteers help with organizing and restocking essential supplies like cat food, litter, and toys.

Have a knack for creative ideas? Join our Party Planning Committee! Whether you love organizing events, dreaming up whimsical themes, or just want a fun way to get involved, this is the place for you. Our committee to plan parties meets every second Wednesday of the month from 6:00-7:00 PM. From festive holiday celebrations to quirky themed nights, we’re always looking for fresh ideas to keep the café lively and our community engaged.
